Links Roundup #2

  • False Simplicity by Dmitry Fadeyev tells us about very common design mistake of using icon-only navigation approach.
  • In Top 10 Handy Web Typography Tools you will find 10 typography tools that you must have as a web graphic designer.
  • One of the worst problem in Javascript is that each browser can have its own rules on how to run the code. String replace JavaScript bad design by Gareth Heyes has a good point about a huge mess with Replace function
  • Webiva.com has some ideas on how to help boost your website and grow your business. The team launches new version of their system and sends invites to test it. I have received mine already!
  • Mashable has some rumors about upcoming image format WebP from Google and call it as Google Wants to Kill the JPEG: Meet WebP

This week I will be working on new version of jQuery formLabels plugin to make it work with interactive sites where it’s important to keep form things work correctly.

Best,
